Hello everyone. I hope everyone is well as we get closer and closer to the end of the year. As usual, I'm here to bring the latest news on Adventures on Rails so let's get started.
- Last month only had one new story which was Duck, Henry and the Tenders. Still, I hope you enjoyed since it does have some good humour and banter between Henry and Duck, so check it out if you haven't and as always, I appreciate any feedback you might have.
- November will see two new episodes. The first of which I plan to release this Sunday if all goes well. I am quite excited for these two stories since it will focus on the re-opening of the Norramby Branch Line. I've decided to give it a fresh start meaning anything that happened in the original Adventures on Rails series is cast aside and the following stories are what's considered canon. Anyways, this is actually an idea I thought of two years ago, so I'm glad to finally write it out. The only other thing I will say is that the first story will focus on Molly and the second on Emily. It's a two-part story really. It's nice to have arcs that span several episodes like in series one and two of the show. It is also important to note that I gave a little glimpse into this in my re-write of Thomas and the Lighthouse. Soon enough, it will all make sense.
- Since we're nearing the end of the year and end of volume two for that matter, it seems that the volume will finish with twenty-four stories. That means there would be two more stories in December and in January, volume three would begin. That's what I have in mind for now. I'm just glad to be able to bring quality stories that the owners of Thomas the Tank Engine just cannot. I do enjoy writing and now with the show pretty much dead, I'm even more motivated to write.
- For me, the future sees no shortage in story ideas so I'm glad to continue till my mind has literally nothing more to give. That being said, next year is actually ten years since I first tried my hand at writing. Back then, I was young and innocent. I had no idea what I was doing really, but I gradually improved and my work from the past four or five years is more or less up to my standards. To celebrate this landmark, there will be two new shorts: You Lucky Engine in January and Visiting Engines in June along with at least sixteen new stories but I hope to get to at least twenty-two.
That's all I have for now. I hope everyone had a great weekend since there was Halloween, Día de Muertos and such. Keep staying safe and I'll see you around. --MainLineEngines (talk) 02:45, November 3, 2020 (UTC)
