Running Away is the first episode of the first season of The Survivors.
Plot
It's 2015, a large tank engine and a brakevan were in a forest, and three people were repairing them. The engine was named Bruce, he was a stern fellow, and is quite brave. While the brakevan is Phillip, a ditzy guy, but has a good heart. The three people were actually breaking the law, as Bruce was supposed to be scrapped. But, thry didn't care, but two diesels did. Homer and Bean, they never liked Bruce and Phillip, but they never caught them. "One day..." Bruce whispered, and Phillip sighed. "Bruce, no Sodor engine will ever co-" But, an unfamiliar whistle was heard, then a horn. The two chuckled, obviously because of a joke. "Sudrian steam. I know it, they have slightly different steam." Bruce told Phillip, who looked embarassed. "Good joke, Derek!" one of the engines said. "Thank you, Thomas." The other one replied.
Then, Bruce left the siding. "You idiot!" Hissed Phillip. The two were a steam engine and a diesel with freight trains. "Who are you?" The diesel asked, he had a strange shape, and was green. "Yeah, I've never seen you around here before. The steam engine added. The steam engine was blue with a yellow one on his side tanks. "Well, I'm Bruce, and my brakevan is Phillip." Bruce explained, while the two engines smiled. "I'm Thomas." The tank engine told. "My name's Derek!" The diesel smirked.
Bruce explained him and Phillip's issue. "I'm trying to escape scrap. Two diesels are trying to kidnap us." But, suddenly, a voice was heard. "There he is!" It was Homer, and Bean was behind him. "Run!" Phillip shouted, but when Derek began to move, smoke blew out everywhere. "Ha! Class 17!" Homer laughed. "Yeah. They failed!" Bean chuckled. "Oh no! Derek breaks down all the time!" Thomas said in horror, but Bruce buffered up to Derek, and he was coupled up. "Bruce! Are you insane?!" Phillip said in shock, as Bruce groaned and started pulling Derek in reverse. "I have no idea where I'm going!" He said as him and Thomas puffed quickly to Vicarstown Bridge. With that, they barely crossed. "I'm coming!" Homer said, but the bridge started to lift, and Homer fell into a barge! Then, Bean fell in as well.
"Ha! Take that!" Thomas chuckled. "Nice job, everyone!" Phillip cheered. Bruce and Phillip smiled as they were glad to be at their new home.
