Paxton's Busy Day
Emily, Gordon, and the Coaches

Percy is a littler engine and sometimes doesn't get as much respect Gordon does. One morning at the Docks, it was busy. Salty was shunting, and Cranky unloading load after load. Percy puffed in to collect his Mail Trucks, but James was blocking the siding. Percy argued until Gordon came. Percy decided next time an engine blocks him, THEY will move. Later, he goes along the line and sees Toby ahead, he was clearing pipes from his line, and was waiting for the Workmen to tie the poles down. His Driver made him wait, but Percy didn't want to, so he biffed Toby to the Other Line. Pipes spilt everywhere, Toby was cross, yet sad, because Percy just puffed on. Later, he saw Thomas, this time HE was in HIS way. Thomas had been told to stay until the line ahead was clear. But Percy gave him a biff, and now he couldn't stop, and HE was added to the wreckage of the pipes. Percy felt happy, he had tricked a Signalman to let him onto the Express line, now he was collecting Flour, and Gordon was steaming along the line towards him. Percy saw him and ordered him to stop, but Gordon couldn't Gordon crashed into the flour derailed and tipped to one side. No one was hurt, the conductor had jumped, and so had his Driver and Fireman, but Gordon was hurt. Percy puffed on to complain to The Fat Controller. He found him at the place the pipes had spilt. Henry and James took Thomas and Toby on flatbeds to the SteamWorks. The Fat Controller asked Percy if he knew anything about this. He told the truth and how he wanted to be more respected. They went to help Gordon who was very hurt. Edward and Emily took him to the SteamWorks. Later Percy went to visit his friends, he told them and they decided they should give Percy a little more respect.
