Plot

After Percy gets back to Tidmouth Sheds, Gordon and James hear a chance for getting Percy to do their dirty work. They make him shunt the express, cars. He sometimes goes as a middle engine. Gordon is enjoying himself. James feels proud that he gets a new coat of paint while Percy does their jobs. But, Percy is a smaller engine, he only has 4 small wheels and he is getting very tired. He arrives at the SteamWorks where he picks up parts for the DieselWorks, milk for the dairy and tar for Knapford Station. Diesel, Stanley, and Hiro see him out of breath, but he is determine to finish his promises to the big engines. Gordon is not clean when it is time to pull the Express. So, he goes to far and tells Percy to pull the Express. He arrives with his side-rods bent. Maxwell brings extra rods but none of them fit. Just then Lincoln, and Jen arrive with more passengers... an extra coach is put and Percy sets off. Sir Topham Hatt is very worried and by the time he gets to the SteamWorks, he is worn out. Saturn takes the Express, and Uranus shunts Percy to the repair section of the SteamWorks. Gordon, and James come over, Sir Topham Hatt asks why they are here, and they reply by with the truth. He scolds them and sends them to The Siding.

Goofs

  • A breakvan should have been added to Percy's mail cars. The breakvan is between the flatbeds and tankers. This was also seen in Percy's Promise.
