Promises for Percy
Thomas usually takes the children from the Mystic River Traction Company Railroad to and from school. Toby helps out if Thomas is not present. One windy day, Percy takes slate and workmen to the school. Thomas is there when Percy arrives. Thomas tells Percy he and Toby will be busy that afternoon fixing rails, Percy offers to take the children home. So, the drivers agree and Thomas leaves Annie and Clarabel in a siding and sets off. Percy works hard, but Edward, Douglas, Nix, and Paxton warn about a snow storm, however that doesn't stop Percy. At the end of the school day, Percy is already waiting for them, the conductor helps them aboard and Percy gently off. Soon, Annie shouts to stop, and there they see, Douglas broken down. Percy takes Douglas' snowplough and charges the drift of snow and with wieght on his train, he never stops. Lincoln is waiting at the Transfer Station to the Mystic River Traction Company Railroad. Thomas is also there and the parents congadulate Percy for being on yet whilst pullint another engine and breaking through the snow. They thank his Driver & Fireman for controlling him well. Lincoln, Thomas, and Sir Topham Hatt tell him he's the strongest tank engine and most useful engine of the day. But Percy is just glad he kept a promise... no matter what the weather was.

- Percy has the Breakvan between the two coaches and between The Truck & the other two slate cars. He also pushes Annie and Clarabel and is going backwards in his first train at the beginning of the episode. A breakvan has also joined Annie and Clarabel when Percy arrives and it is in front of Percy.
- A bell is heard chiming when Percy arrives, this is the school bell.
