Delete's Hallowen Story is the twenty-fifth episode of Delete the Mixed-Traffic Engine.

Plot

As dark approached engines gattered to hear Halloween's Eve stories. When the clock struck 11.55, Delete began a tale.

"This tale concerns my own class. The Thompson B1. It begins just five years ago. In 1950. It revolves around an unnamed Thompson B1. No. 61057. He was to pull a mail train from Peterborough to Liverpool Street. The moment he took off, a dense fog rolled in. He couldn't see. I don't know what he was thinking, with no way of knowing which tracks he was on, he was heading for trouble. There was a stationary goods siding about half way through. With the signalman unable to see which track he was on, there was no hope! A couple days later, the reckage was cleared. Due to the severe nature of the damage, he was scrapped. I may not be on the London and North Eastern Railway, but one thing is certain, his spirit is still around."

Delete had a morning train, so he rested near Tidmouth, and quietly thought about No. 61057.

"Let his spirit do its job", he said to himself and fell asleep.

(shows No. 61057, then disappears)
