Plot
Lately, Bulgy has not been doing any jobs. Engines pass by, but Bulgy lays with a missing tire and 2 tires have worn out. However, two new arrivals arrived at the Docks. One was a Tractor to help shunt and do normal tractor jobs, and a bus which Thomas knew in the old days when he was black and young. The tractor's name was Terence and he was orange, Bertie the Bus was red. The Fat Controller arrived one day on Bertie with 4 temperary tires. Butch hauled him to the Fitter's Yard next to Tidmouth Sheds. Thomas was there, and Duck too. Duck was surprised to see Bulgy, he had gotten stuck in a bridge and had caused confusion and delay. The Fat Controller announced Bulgy would help whilst Thomas and Duck were being Overhauled. When Bulgy was fitted with 4 new Dunlop tires and new cream and red paint he went to work. James and Gordon admired his coat of paint. He worked often with Bertie and hooted as they passed eachother. He even to the surprise of Percy, Douglas, and Donald he honked to them, and they whistled back. Later Bulgy overhears by accident a converastion of Oliver and Molly, that they were talking about scrap. Bulgy later had spilted oil and Bertie was going back to the Bus Depot when he slipped and crashed into a small mud pond and a bush. Terence pulled him out, but Bulgy was worried when he heard that, HE had spilt oil, and he remembered Molly and Oliver's conversation about scrap. He bravely told the Fat Controller, but he didn't scrap him, but he put him back in service. Now, Bulgy is a great friends to all engines... even Duck and Donald.
