One day, Emily wonders why there can't be any more Steam Team members. Through some sleuthing, she concludes that someone "replaced" Edward, Henry, and Toby with Nia and Rebecca, but the others dismiss it. Around the same time, Ashima arrives on Sodor. The Steam Team, along with other engines are eager to meet her and Thomas tells them to meet up in a forest. Once there, Ashima explains that some engines, being led by a mysterious being, want to relegate the other engines to the background and keep Thomas in the spotlight. When the boss of those same engines, Apollo Webster, shows up on Sodor and imprisons the NWR engines, Thomas and his friends escape, but they are prevented from saving the other engines. They soon go on a journey to stop Webster and his gang from taking over Sodor. |
