A Special Treat is the twentieth and final episode of the first season/volume of Delete the Mixed-Traffic Engine.
Plot
The Fat Controller sat with the Mystic River Traction Company Railway controller.
"So you say you need an engine to help", the Fat Controller said.
"Yes indeed. I have discovered your railway is very reliable, and would save money from buying an engine we may not keep", replied the MRTCR controller.
"I'll contact you when I have decided which one, as I have over 30."
"Very well", and he left.
That left the Fat Controller to chose from so many options. He could send Thomas, his cheeky number 1, or Edward had already been there, so he knew the life. But, the word Delete popped in his mind. He went to his car.
Delete was waiting for the Fat Controller to give him futher instructions.
He told Delete all about the Mystic River Traction Co. Railway.
"And don't worry, we have plenty of engines to fill in. You are a hard-working and dedicated engine to the railway, and you know how to give advice, you've had adventures and mishaps, so I have a reason to believe you are the one. You could come back when you want to."
"OK. I'm in", Delete replied.
The next day all the engines that fit at Tidmouth, came to say good-bye. Lines of engines strected to Knapford.
"I'll miss you all", Delete said.
"Have fun!", shouted Dodger.
"We'll handle your workloads", said Thomas.
Then, Delete blew his whistle, and was off.
