Plot

James is not in his good mood today. Henry, Gordon, and Edward however are cheerful. James hates those looks that 'mock' him. Today Thomas, Edward, Percy, and Duck are busy so James has to find his own coaches. Henry and Gordon's coaches were already set up. This annoyed James so much, he bumped his coaches very hard that they cried. Henry tells him shunting is not hard work. James leaves without the last two coaches but he does not care. Later he has to deliver pipes to the Docks, coal to the Wharf, and gravel to the track being mended. Again, no one shunts his trucks, and he bangs about. The trucks decide to pay him out. It was not hard either, at the track being mended, the trucks surged, and James fell into a pool of mud. He felt silly, but it served him. He puffs home, a dirty, and sadder, wisser engine.
